AYDA FRANCES GÜNERI
TRAINING AND BEGINNINGS
Ayda, who was born to British-Turkish parents, completed the first years of her dance training at the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, followed by five formative years at the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier School. In her first engagement, Ayda danced for two seasons with Ballett Chemnitz under the direction of Sabrina Sadowska. In early 2022, she became a member of the first generation of Gauthier Dance Juniors. Since then, she has inspired countless children and young people with the educational format MOVES FOR FUTURE, especially as a dying swan. As part of the first Gauthier Dance Juniors program, Renaissance, Ayda danced pieces by world-renowned choreographers, including Sara by Sharon Eyal, Bolero by Andonis Foniadakis, Midnight Raga, a duet by Marco Goecke, and a creation by Barak Marshall.
From the 2024/25 season, Ayda will be part of Limonada Enrique Gasa Valga Dance Company.
