The Great Gatsby

@Reiner Leifried

German premiere 23.02.2024 - Deutsches Theater Munich

Welcome to the 20ies!

With his novel The Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald created in 1925 a true masterpiece. He created an apt portrait of the 1920s in the United States, which were characterized by economic growth, crime and jazz. Enrique Gasa Valga has transformed the story of the young millionaire Jay Gatsby into a dazzling dance theater.

The "Roaring Twenties" come to life when the Limonada Dance Company dances a dazzling party on stage to the swinging music of the 6-piece live band with ballet, tap dance and acrobatics. After 15 sold-out performances at the Tiroler Landestheater The Great Gatsby came to Germany for the first time, at the Deutsches Theater in Munich.
