MARTIN SEGETA
TRAINING AND BEGINNINGS
Martin Segeta comes from the Czech Republic and completed his dance training at the Dance Conservatory in Brno in the Czech Republic. He successfully completed his studies in 2014 and became a member of the ensemble at the National Theater in Brno. There he danced in pieces from the company's repertoire with performances in classical, contemporary, neo-classical and experimental choreographies. He was promoted to demi-solo dancer.
INNSBRUCK
From the 2018/19 season, Martin Segeta became a member of the TanzCompany of the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck. He danced in choreographies by renowned guest choreographers such as Uwe Scholz, Jiri Kylian, Nacho Duato and Mauro Bigonzetti. He has taken part in productions such as Frida Kahlo - Nueva Pasion, The Tempest, Terra Baixa, Romy Schneider and Lorca (ch: Enrique Gasa Valga), as well as Cyrano de Bergerac (ch: Filip Veverka), and Maledetto Modigliani (ch: Lara Brandi).
From December 2023 Martin became a permanent ensemble member of the newly founded Limonada Enrique Gasa Valga Dance Company and was seen in Lágrimas Negras, The Great Gatsby at the Deutsches Theater Munich as well as in Monte-Carlo, in Der Fall Wagner (Festspielhaus Erl - Tirol) as Wagner and in Frida - Pasión por la vida (Deutsches Theater Munich) as Frida Kahlo's father.
